Hi Stephen,
I continue to be grateful that I found a class so close to home.  But more than that, I would be continuing if your class wasn't such an encouraging and congenial atmosphere.  I am not into competition, but I am into trying to be stronger and more flexibility and having more stamina.
As I am aging I am aware of the limitations of a number of folks I see.  I am ever grateful that I found your website and started the class mid-August of 2011.  The irony is that I intended to come only for a month while my evening fitness class was on hiatus.  I got so much out of it that I would not think of stopping.
I can't say that I always want to get out of bed, but I afterwards I always feel so good.  Particularly as a person prone to stiffness, I am happy that I can reach for things.  I notice when I am involved in projects around the house that I have a lot of stamina and flexibility.  This is all thanks to you.

Lost 9 Pounds in 5-6 weeks. by Stephen Cooper

"So far, I have lost 9 pounds since I've started. 9 pounds within 5-6 weeks is huge!
 
The best part of all, I don't feel that I'm restricting what I eat. I eat what I want but I'm more careful on portions and I make more of an effort to eat more veggies and fruits (and protein of course).  
 
Thanks again and I'm going to continue with my eating schedule - I also plan to continue with boot camp for as long as I can continue. Your classes are so worth it and I don't see it as an expense but rather, more of a necessity for my health.  =)"

"Since beginning boot camp both my blood pressure and my total cholesterol have dropped.

The other benefit is the flexibility I have.  Recently I was sitting reading on a couch in a store.  A woman came by with a shopping cart and there wasn't room for her to pass.  I didn't feel like getting up, so I just swung my legs up over the high arm of the couch so the woman could pass.  She was shaking her head and remarking that I was very flexible.

All these improvements are thanks to Boot Camp!  I am very grateful you are around and I am able to be in the class."

"Yesterday, I ran my very first 5K race (well, it was actually longer (3.88 miles), which threw me off)... BUT - my point is - with zero training (I meant to, but never did), and not having run any sort of distance in about two years, I was able to run the first 31 minutes without stopping.

It's definitely a testimony to what we do in bootcamp that allowed me to have that kind of endurance and speed (about a 10 minute mile pace).  So, thank you for making a 'runner' out of me, without even trying!"

Thanks also for the super fun workout this morning - all the different activities made the time FLY - plus, the rope work was a really fun way to end!  I felt strong and empowered as I pulled... that's a priceless feeling.

p.s.  I was thinking about my beginnings with you and how a huge happy dance moment was losing inches around my waist and being able to wear jeans comfortably again.  Those were my "fat" jeans.  I've gone from being able to get into my fat jeans comfortably... to being able to wear my "skinny" jeans that had been collecting dust... to present day: where my skinny jeans are way too big!  I recently bought jeans that fit and the best part was being able to purchase them in a size I haven't worn in easily 20 years!  :)  And, I only bought one pair, because my plan is that they'll be too big for me soon.  Time will tell... :)  Thanks for making my transformation happen, Coop!

To-date, today's work out has been my favorite.

I really enjoyed the jump rope (as I have improved), the ball push ups, the dive bombs, and the TRX, it was just to damn sunny...and the plyometric jump slams were so much fun.

I am getting so much stronger, my stamina has improved. I have lost 18 lbs of body weight. Mostly unwanted fat!!!

"...I also wanted to say how much I look forward to each Bootcamp day.  You always have great fun routines that are always different and never boring. The changes in my body are very evident especially to my husband and that also makes me very happy.  I also can see the progress I have made in my strength, dexterity, muscle tone and surprisingly my balance.  I can feel my progress and this has been good for my self esteem.

I also wanted to say that I have a condition called "Frozen shoulders" and have had to deal with chronic pain for over 6 years. There is no cure for it but exercise.  Since I have been at Bootcamp I have been almost pain free.  I have found that exercising in your program is not only challenging it is gentle and I have not had any injury or flare up due to over use of my shoulders.

All in all I feel healthy and beautiful.  Thank-you Stephen.  H."

Happy Father's Day!! I want to thank you again for the opportunity to be in your class. It was a great experience to have you train and provide me techniques that I will be able to use in my future workouts. It definitely took a lot of discipline/focus for a person like me to really stick to a strict diet and a consistent workout routine. I knew if I wanted to see results I had to take your advice and stay away from carbs for awhile!! Ahhh!! But it surely did work! I thank you for all the support, education, and direction that you provided to get me to the goal that I feel like I have accomplished.

Over the past few weeks/months, since I've taken your class everyone has seen dramatic results from my weight change and most especially that I've gotten more toned than I've ever been over the past 6 months. I went from a almost size 6 to a size 2 maybe even a half inch smaller. I've lost about 6lbs over the last two 12 session classes, and I feel like I have more energy, motivation to workout and have healthier habits. The workouts were fun, challenging, and useful. Hi Stephen, 

Thanks so much! It's been really good for me to get back to going 3 times a week. Not only have I been needing the relief of work stress, I've been sleeping better, too.  

My siblings and I celebrated my mom's birthday this weekend and she was very happy to see my slimmer physique and happier attitude. Right before I decided to get a divorce, I was extremely depressed and 25 pounds heavier. I was a comfort eater and ice cream was my vice. My cholesterol was high for my age and I looked terrible.The great thing is that I have been maintaining my weight and it hasn't fluctuated in almost a year now. My cholesterol is down 40 points. My clothes fit me well and I have noticed I have more endurance and strength (which has helped me for the long 10-12 hour days at work.) I sleep better and I think I deal with stress better.
